Our Story

Life in a Stroke aims to provide a platform for all those affected both directly and indirectly by strokes.

We are dedicated to sharing stories of those who have experienced strokes, their journey to recovery and to thriving after a stroke. The aim is to highlight the importance of a positive attitude and determination, and to getting the best support and care on the road to recovery.

We also aim to uncover the positives and the challenges of stroke medicine and healthcare systems at home in the UK, and to compare, contrast, share and learn how stroke victims and their families are treated and cared for all around the world.
